Terms of Service

1. About the service

checkin.runandchill.de is a free community platform operated by Run and Chill, a sports community in Munich, Germany. The platform allows members to check in to training sessions, track attendance, earn points, and view a community leaderboard.

2. Account registration

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the platform.
• You must provide your real first and last name.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may only create one account per person.

3. Check-ins and points

• Check-ins are only valid when you are physically present at the training session.
• Fraudulent check-ins (e.g. forwarding QR codes, using multiple accounts) may result in point deduction or account removal.
• Points are earned for attendance (+1 per session) and for bringing friends (+1 per friend). Mutual referrals within the same session are not allowed.
• The leaderboard and any associated prizes are at the sole discretion of the Run and Chill organizers.

4. Training sessions

Participation in Run and Chill training sessions is at your own risk. By attending, you acknowledge that:

• You are physically fit to participate in the activity.
• Organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage during sessions.
• You agree to follow the rules of each session (e.g. helmet requirements for cycling, road traffic regulations).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Manipulate the check-in system or leaderboard
• Use the platform for any purpose other than its intended community use

6. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your own account at any time by contacting info@runandchill.de.

7. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is Munich.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
